1. If you are unhappy with your order, bring the matter to attention before you leave Carroll's Sweet Creations. Once you leave the bakery with your order, we cannot help you solve any issues – all sales are final.
2. You will be asked to sign a waiver on relatable cakes (2 tiers or more) when picking up the cake yourself. This release states that the order was acceptable to your preference, and once you leave the bakery, the cake becomes your responsibility.
3. We can cover and protect the cake to your satisfaction before you leave, with the materials we have in store. On some occasions, we will not put your cake in a box depending on the size (height and width) of the cake.
We offer cake deliveries up to 50 miles from our location in Desoto, TX. Deliveries are based on the physical delivery address and are based on a first come-first serve basis. There is always a delivery charge, no matter where we are going.
All Sales Are Final. No Exceptions. Carroll's Sweet Creations requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit/retainer to book any order. All major cards are accepted (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express) and cash.
All orders that require delivery – payment must be paid in full 1 day (24 hours) prior to delivery. Cakes will not be delivered unless the payment is received. We do not accept cash-on-delivery (COD).
The 50% retainer/deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable – this secures your order and is retained as a booking fee. All Sales Are Final. No Exceptions.
If the cake is paid in full at the time of the cancellation and is not within 7 days of pickup, then 50% of the full payment can be issued as a store credit. If you are in need of postponing your order to another date, please call the bakery directly — please do not email.

Once the 50% deposit has been placed, be it 5 minutes after or 100 years later the 50% deposit will not be refunded.
Before placing the order, ensure that you want to place the cake order.
Carroll's Sweet Creations prohibits the solicitation, distribution and posting of products and services on or at Company property by any employee or non-employee, except as may be permitted by this policy. The sole exceptions to this policy are charitable and community activities supported by Carroll's Sweet Creations management and Company-sponsored programs related to Carroll's Sweet Creations products and services.
PROVISIONS:
The posting of materials or electronic announcements are permitted with approval from management.
Violation of this policy should be reported to the owner of Carroll's Sweet Creations.
Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable or transferable.
NO refunds will be issued under any circumstances, unless the Carroll’s Sweet
Creations chooses to cancel your order and if that is to occur, you will receive only your
deposit as a refund.
Delivery and setup is an additional cost.
Carroll’s Sweet Creations is not responsible for supplying any fresh flowers or cake
toppers that go on the cake.
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are
responsible for providing an appropriate & secure table and environment for the cake(s).
Cakes are heavy & require a sturdy table, optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or
below.
You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides,
insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
If you or your representative elective pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability
and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Carroll’s Sweet Creations’
possession.
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other
allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic
reactions.
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Carroll’s Sweet
Creations to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes,
accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
All cake orders that are delivered have to be set out 1-2 hour prior to your event. If we
deliver the cake and there is no place to set up the cake and you place the cake
elsewhere other than where it needs to be set up, such as a restaurant (they typically
place the cake in the freezer/refrigerator) if you cut into your cake and its cold/frozen,
this is not our responsibly due to the fact that the cake was not set up where it needed to
be upon delivery at the 2 hour mark.
If you submit a picture or bring a picture to the consultation that you want your cake to
be based off of, it is your responsibility to state to us that you want the cake to look
EXACTLY like. This means, colors, size, and structure will be close as possible. Once
you make changes to the photo, it will not look like the picture you provided to Carroll’s
Sweet Creations. You are changing the look from the photo, which means, it will not
look like the photo.
I have agreed upon that Carroll’s Sweet Creations can make adjustments as needed to
make my cake as close to the photo or cake that was requested.
I am aware of non-toxic products that may be used on the ordered items such as glitter
dust, luster paint, edible images and other decorative paints and/or items. They are non-
toxic but some may be considered non-edible. The customer assumes full responsibility
if these items are used, not Carroll's Sweet Creations.
Cancellation policy?
In the event of cancellation, payments and deposits are non-refundable and will NOT be issued under any circumstances. If the cancellation is made the week of your order, you will not receive credit or any type of refund. For all custom signature cakes, no refunds and or non-transferable options will be given to move your deposit around to other dates. We do not issue credits for any order or under any circumstances. Carroll’s Sweet Creations has every right to cancel your order. You will be informed in writing and you will receive your deposit back with 30 days of the cancellation.
Do you deliver or pickup policy?
Yes, we offer delivery for our custom/wedding cakes with prices starting at $100. If asked to
deliver an order the day of due, to you not being able to pick up the cake as agreed, your cake
may not be delivered on time, due to lack of communication or setup on your part. The delivery fee will be expected at the time of delivery. If you are picking up your cake and the cake is not picked-up within a 30-60 minute window from the time you setup, you will not be able to pick up your cake until the following business day. Please take the time to take your cake order, my time and other client’s orders into consideration.
I do acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to check my contract to ensure all
details are correct. If changes to this contract are needed, I do acknowledge that it is my
sole responsibility to notify Carroll’s Sweet Creations in writing as soon as possible of
the changes. I do understand that the cake details (flavors, styles, sizes, etc.) stated on
my contract will supersede any verbal or other written communications. In other words, if
it is not on my contract, it will not be on my cake. Carroll’s Sweet Creations is not
responsible for damage to cakes resulting from sitting outside or damage resulting after
cake has been picked up by client. I give some degree of artistic license concerning my
cake design. I understand that my cake will be to the closest representation of agreed
upon.
